So, do you think if I had liked "All Things" more I would have liked "Confirmation" better?

I don't know, I didn't adore "All Things" myself. It was one of those episodes that was fascinating but terribly flawed. I like this story because it takes the basic feel of the episode and does something productive with it, rather than deciding to throw the baby out with the bathwater.
