I understand. Don't we all project? I talked a little about my discomfort with infidelity in fanfic. I have similar biases against hurt/comfort fanfic and rape fanfic and anything to do with the cancer arc. I have to work to judge stories in those categories fairly and I'm not sure I succeed.
