My next nomination, if my co-mod can stand to read it, is Split the Lark (http://www.omniscribe.com/SplittheLark.html) by Syntax6. It is a Scully rapefic, and attempts to treat the subject in a well-researched and character-consistent way. It was apparently very controversial when it was first posted, which should make for good discussion. It also has a "DVD commentary" version by the author which I found very interesting reading.
