This "old skool" story nominated by
kukkaseksi is a casefile set in third season in the middle of something called "the infamous rift"(?) You long-time fans are going to have to explain that one to me. I never noticed a rift between Mulder and Scully in season three. No more than usual, anyway. Here is the info from Gossamer, although the link is from the Annex.
