I miss the show (the old one, not the new one), and I guess I read XF fanfic for much the same reasons you did. estella_c has stopped reading fanfic and (re)watching the show, and that's for the best, though sad for us. Sometimes you have to move on, as I guess you have, too, since you're now writing fic for Sherlock. Although I think she missed the mark on this one, often her acerbic wit was right on the money. I miss it. I miss her.
