So, Detour is another likeable ep and I DID like it except I remember thinking that the woods-running went on much too long. Loved the little red eyes. Loved the other agents, obviously meant to remind us how cool our heroes are. Loved the piling up of dead bodies as a contrast to the training exercise involving office furniture. Loved--like everyone else in the fanworld--the cuddling and singing.
Mulder really is looking for a better mommy. Tough on Scully. I speak from experience.
Do we not agree that the (d)evolution of the conquistadors was a little rushed, scientifically speaking? I mean, what, four centuries? And now they're all barky and invisible? Wendy???
I have adored this rewatch. It was like putting gas in the car. Which I must remember to do tomorrow.
