Haha, I liked that too. There's almost a light-heartedness about this story, even though it deals with very bleak, depressing subject matter. I think it must be the author's own light-heartedness shining through, if that note is any evidence. :)

Whew, damn. I haven't seen the last 2 seasons but it's probably more fun reading the resulting fic than actually watching. This one was such a mess, or rather the images were noir and painful. Ouch! But enjoyed..
