This short story is post-col, so you know what that means. It's short, because I sense some readers need a break from long fanfic. It's a fic that got recced everywhere from The Other Side to crack_van. It's quite good, but I guess that goes without saying.

I agree that the songs chosen indicate that Scully has died; that, and her seeing her father, who has died, and of course, Mulder, and all of the other people whom she knows are dead.
